Tri-colour quinoa is a Natrually Trans Fat Free and Cholesterol Free premium superfood. It is a good source of protein and makes a great high in dietary fibre alternative to white rice and can be added to soups, stews, stir-fries or salads.
WHAT’S THE FUSS ABOUT PFAS
Some studies suggest exposure to PFAS increases cholesterol levels, reduces birth weight, reduces immune antibody response to childhood vaccines, and may increase rates of some types of cancers such as kidney and testicular cancer.
RECIPE
Begin by rinsing the quinoa thoroughly. Then, add the rinsed quinoa to the rice cooker along with the water or broth, using a 1:2 ratio. Allow the rice cooker to work its magic! For added flavor, consider adding garlic, onions, or herbs into the mix!
